1. About This Policy

We are Nest Group Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 683 193 188), the company behind the NESTres platform (NestBuild, NestHome, NestCheck, NestSpace). We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy applies to all NESTres applications.

2. Information We Collect

We collect: identity information (name, email address, mobile number); account and profile data; documents and files you upload; usage data and device information; payment information processed securely by Stripe (we do not store card numbers or CVV). We collect information directly from you when you register, use the platform, or contact us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the platform; verify your identity; process payments; send service notifications and alerts; respond to support requests; comply with legal obligations; and detect and prevent fraud.

We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your personal data with external third-party AI companies for their training purposes. We may use aggregated, anonymised, and de-identified data — data from which all personal identifiers have been removed — to develop, train, and improve AI and machine learning features within the NESTres platform. This helps us continuously improve the apps, user experience, and platform intelligence. Any such use is conducted internally and does not expose your personal information to third parties.

4. Sharing Your Information

We share data only with: trusted service providers (Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS verification, cloud hosting providers); other NESTres platform users where required by the platform's design (e.g. shared company records); and legal authorities when required by Australian law. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption. We use OAuth 2.0 and JWT-based authentication. Access to data is restricted to authorised personnel. We conduct regular security reviews.

We retain your data while your account is active and for as long as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and data by emailing [email protected].

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request corrections to inaccurate information; request deletion of your data; opt out of marketing communications; and lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au. 8. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies only for authentication and security purposes. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Any analytics we collect are aggregated and do not identify individual users.

The NESTres platform is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by displaying a notice within the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
